This is a full-time, permanent position that will be performed in-community in Cherokee County or in-school in Hull County.
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide direct in-home clinical treatment and therapeutic counseling as appropriate to children, adolescents, and parents/guardians.
About the Responsibilities- You will develop treatment plans, implement interventions, and review outcomes.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts to promote peer and supervisory review and feedback.
- Engage clients, supports, caregivers, and other key participants in active, change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
- Link consumers to additional resources as appropriate.
- You should have demonstrated hands-on experience performing 1:1 therapeutic sessions with clients.
- Prior experience providing group therapy and/or full-time community or home-based mental health experience is strongly preferred.
- You should have training and experience in evidence-based treatment models.
- Knowledge of assessment tools and the ability to conduct an initial assessment of a client to determine treatment plans is required.
- Crisis intervention skills are essential; able to recognize high-risk behaviors and recommend additional services.
- You should have strong organization and time management skills with the capacity to manage a case load of 25-30 clients concurrently.
- A willingness, ability, and determination to holistically evaluate clients' cases and know when and how to engage other resources to help them get where they need to be is necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills; demonstrated ability to work with diverse cultures is required.
- You must have a Master's in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.

The estimated salary for this position is around $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
