About the Role

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the construction activities related to expanding and upgrading our fiber optic network infrastructure. This role ensures that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction personnel and delegate tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Perform regular inspections of the construction site to ensure designs are followed, specifications and standards are adhered to, and the site is kept clean of all debris, garbage, or other hazards.
  • Manage customer complaints through resolution, interfacing directly with customers as needed and enforcing SLA for contractor resolution of any customer complaints.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and manage them accordingly.
  • Ensure all personnel comply with health and safety practices, such as wearing the appropriate protective equipment, adhering to safe excavation methods, and abiding by any state-specific 811/One Call utility requirements.
  • Organize work schedules.
  • Check work techniques are correct and safe per industry standards.
  • Assist Construction Managers with planning work activities.
  • Complete site reports and other records daily to include production reports.
  • Attend site management meetings daily.
