Job Overview

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated individual who has a passion for nurturing infants and providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with all state regulations, health standards, and organizational training protocols.
  • Conduct daily health assessments of infants.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, individualized care plans, incident reports, attendance, feeding schedules, diaper changes, and other necessary records through the designated communication platform.
  • Foster a welcoming and collaborative environment for each child and their family.
  • Encourage feelings of safety and trust among infants and toddlers.
  • Warmly greet infants and their guardians each day.
  • Ensure that each infant receives individual attention and is gradually integrated into group activities.
  • Engage with children through talking, singing, and reading regularly.
  • Respond promptly and compassionately to infants' needs.
  • Maintain a hygienic and secure caregiving space, ensuring the health and safety of all children.

Feeding and Diapering

  • Respond consistently to infants' hunger and comfort needs.
  • Implement personalized feeding plans as requested by parents, respecting individual preferences.
  • Conduct diaper changes regularly, ensuring cleanliness and comfort.

Educational Engagement

  • Respect and encourage infants' natural curiosity about their peers.
  • Plan daily activities that provide diverse experiences and learning opportunities.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of infants' developmental milestones and document any concerns confidentially.
  • Organize activities that promote curiosity, problem-solving, creativity, and a sense of belonging.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the caregiving environment, including sanitizing surfaces and organizing materials.
  • Exhibit a calm demeanor and soothing communication style.
  • Model developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to develop monthly lesson plans.
  • Participate in all training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled.
  • Be adaptable to assist in other classrooms as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the infant/toddler coordinator or center director.

Qualifications
Must have relevant experience and be at least 21 years of age.
