Summary
We are seeking a dedicated individual who has a passion for nurturing infants and providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with all state regulations, health standards, and organizational training protocols.
  • Conduct daily health assessments for infants.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of evaluations, individualized care plans, incident reports, attendance, feeding schedules, diaper changes, and other necessary records through the designated communication platform.
  • Foster a welcoming and collaborative relationship with each child and their family.
  • Encourage a sense of security and trust among infants and toddlers.
  • Warmly greet infants and their guardians each day.
  • Ensure that every infant receives individual attention and support to integrate into group settings.
  • Engage with children through conversation, singing, and reading.
  • Respond promptly and compassionately to infants' needs and distress signals.
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic caregiving environment, ensuring personal cleanliness and the well-being of all children.

Feeding and Diapering

  • Respond consistently to infants' hunger and comfort needs.
  • Implement personalized feeding plans based on parental requests, honoring individual preferences and dining habits; model good manners and nutrition during mealtimes.
  • Attend to diaper changes at least every two hours, or as needed, ensuring cleanliness and comfort.

Educational Engagement

  • Respect infants' natural curiosity and promote gentle interactions among peers.
  • Plan daily activities that offer a range of experiences and learning opportunities.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of infants' developmental milestones, documenting any concerns confidentially.
  • Organize activities that stimulate curiosity, problem-solving, creativity, and a sense of belonging.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the caregiving environment, including regular sanitization of surfaces and toys.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor and soothing communication style.
  • Model and teach developmentally appropriate practices.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to create monthly lesson plans for the infant/toddler program.
  • Participate in all training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled.
  • Be adaptable to work in different classrooms as needed, based on organizational requirements.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the infant/toddler coordinator or center director.

Qualifications
Must possess relevant experience and be at least 21 years of age.
