We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Global Supplier Quality to join our team at Semiconductor Components Industries, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our supply chain, including supplier quality development, establishing quality management systems and benchmarks, and collaborating with our corporate quality team to drive continuous improvement to meet our customers' quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Global Supplier Quality Strategy: Develop and execute the global supplier quality strategy aligned with the company's overall quality objectives.
- Promote Engagement and Collaboration: Promote engagement with business units, manufacturing, and quality management to drive end-to-end total quality management and continuous improvement in supplier quality processes.
- Lead and Drive Quality Initiatives: Lead and drive the organization using widely accepted quality techniques such as the 8D problem-solving, 5 Whys, Kaizen events, SPC, Maverick, DPAT, SPAT.
- Establish and Maintain Supplier Performance Data Management System: Establish and maintain an effective supplier performance data management system with inputs from supplier quality performance, as well as on-site quality system evaluations.
- Partner with Critical Suppliers: Partner with critical suppliers to ensure that effective process controls are in place and maintained for high-risk failure modes.
- Lead Supplier Audits and Assessments: Lead supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Execute Fast and Effective Containment: Execute fast and effective containment to address quality issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field.
- Minimum 15 Years of Experience in Supplier Quality Management: Minimum 15 years of experience in supplier quality management in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong Knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing Processes: Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and operations.
- Experience in Product Quality and Reliability: Experience in product quality and reliability, customer quality, product/process development, engineering, FA, and automotive market preferred.
- Strong Technical Problem-Solving Skills: Strong technical problem-solving and hands-on skills in quality tools and methodologies.
- Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to Travel Internationally: Ability to travel internationally 25%.
