Job Title: Senior Director, EPC Programs
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, EPC Programs to join our team at Bloom Energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting EPCs globally, developing and executing a global strategy for EPCs, and providing ongoing negotiation of costs, scope, operational performance, terms & conditions of our EPCs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select EPCs globally in line with the current and anticipated future needs of the Bloom Installations business.
- Develop and execute a global strategy for EPCs to support Bloom's European and Asian growth.
- Provide ongoing negotiation of costs, scope, operational performance, terms & conditions of our EPCs.
- Implement robust cost reduction tracking methodologies and design/construct/product feedback to continuously improve our Installations Cost and Quality.
- Develop partnership relations with EPCs and pursue new business opportunities for Bloom Energy through partner sales channels.
- Provide strong management of the CIG supply base to ensure that business needs for schedule, costs, flexibility, and technology needs are met or exceeded.
- Ensure compliance by establishing and clearly communicating the design, safety, and quality requirements to EPC suppliers.
- Ensure that CIG installation timelines are supported with capacity and timely acceptances.
- Evaluate and drive with the CIG leadership team further actions as appropriate where there is competitive advantage for Bloom.
- Lead the EPC program to drive efficiencies and migrate the team from lower value activities to higher value-added activities such as New Program technologies for Installations.
- Continue to evolve Bloom's external contracting methods and terms to support Bloom's business needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required, engineering background required.
- 15+ years in a procurement/contracts role preferably in construction.
- Demonstrated success in Managing EPCs and GCs, ideally in the energy sector.
- Technical skills to enable identification and qualification of multiple EPCs.
- Demonstrated ability to drive and coordinate international construction activities.
- In-depth negotiation experience and the ability to meet cost targets is required.
- Strong analytical, technical, and legal contracting skills are key.
- Must have the ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships across the company and with suppliers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
- Ability to excel in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Must be self-motivated with high energy level and a strong work ethic.
- Organizational leadership skills; aggressiveness in achieving results, yet sensitivity to the need for communicating effectively with other members of the team.

Compensation: The total compensation for this position includes standard company benefits and is based on various factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience.
Salary Range: $232,100.00 - $333,900.00
