Job Summary



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Ministry Director to lead the spiritual growth of middle school and high school students at Victory Church. This is a full-time position that requires a bachelor's degree in a ministry-related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.



About the Role

The Student Ministry Director will be responsible for leading weekly services, small groups, annual events, and discipleship programs. S/he will work closely with the Family Director to develop a comprehensive spiritual growth plan and ensure the student ministry operates in alignment with Victory Church's mission and guiding principles.

Responsibilities


  • Plan and implement effective strategies to attract new students and grow the student ministry numerically and spiritually.
  • Recruit, train, and develop volunteer teams and leaders to support the student ministry.
  • Work collaboratively with the Family Director to develop and administer a comprehensive spiritual growth plan for middle school and high school students.
  • Provide Biblical counseling, prayer, and ministry to students and their families as needed.
  • Manage and operate the student ministry budget effectively.
  • Partner with the Victory Kids Ministry to create seamless opportunities for kids to grow in their faith from birth through high school.
  • Perform other duties as best fits the needs of the Senior Pastor and Family Director.


This role requires a strong commitment to Victory Church's Statement of Faith and a passion for serving the next generation.



Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in a ministry-related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar ministry position.
  • Proven ability to grow a student ministry numerically and spiritually.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with public speaking.
  • Presents with an enthusiastic, patient, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Trustworthy; able to anticipate needs and priorities independently.
  • Familiarity with Mac applications, Church Community Builder, Basecamp, and other relevant tools.


Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience.
