We are seeking a skilled Railcar Maintenance Technician to join our team in Augusta, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing defective or worn components on railcar equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and repair railcar equipment, including truck assembly, safety appliances, brake systems, wheels, and draft systems.
- Diagnose and identify malfunctions in railcar equipment.
- Clean units and components.
- Ensure proper operation of railcar equipment.
Requirements:
- A good work ethic.
- Experience with hand tools.
- Previous mechanic experience is desired.
- Familiarity with welding is a plus.
