Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician provides critical support to deliver exceptional resident experiences at our Multifamily properties. This role involves ensuring high-quality move-ins, meeting residential satisfaction goals, and providing expedited service with a personal touch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apartment Preparation: Prepare make-ready apartments by performing tasks such as painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, and housekeeping duties to provide an excellent quality move-in experience for residents.
  • Resident Service: Respond promptly and professionally to resident requests, addressing their needs in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance Expertise: Possess knowledge of maintenance functions including plumbing, HVAC, basic electric work, carpentry skills, painting, and snow removal (if applicable) to efficiently resolve issues.
  • Grounds and Common Areas: Maintain the cleanliness, operation, and safety of grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities for residents' enjoyment.
  • On-Call Scheduling: Be available for on-call scheduling to address after-hour emergencies, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to resident needs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
  • Experience: At least 1 year of related experience
  • Certifications: Valid Driver's license, EPA 608 - Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate
  • Skills: Ability to read/understand documents, compute rate/ratio/percent, prepare and interpret bar graphs, deal with routine problems, utilize common sense understanding, add/subtract/multiply/divide, write routine reports, and follow all safety procedures
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role operates primarily in a professional office environment with occasional travel between properties in varying weather conditions. The physical demands include standing, walking, ascending/descending staircases, ladders, and/or step stools, remaining stationary for extended periods, and lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Compensation and Benefits:
