Armed Security Specialist

The Armed Security Specialist is tasked with maintaining a secure and safe atmosphere within the premises. This position requires vigilance in monitoring activities, conducting property inspections, and responding effectively to emergencies. The ideal candidate should possess prior security experience along with excellent observational and communication abilities.

Job Overview:
  • Ensure a secure and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe designated areas and report any suspicious behavior.
  • Conduct property inspections, oversee surveillance systems, and monitor gatherings.
  • Engage local authorities during emergencies.
  • Verify property security after hours by checking access points.
  • Investigate reports of unusual activities.
  • Apprehend individuals suspected of illegal actions until law enforcement arrives.
  • Assist in escorting unauthorized individuals off the property.
Essential Skills:
  • Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to remain composed in high-stress situations.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) required or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
  • Armed SLED certification.
  • Prior experience in security roles.
  • Familiarity with high-end environments.
  • C.P.R. and First Aid Certification or the ability to obtain within 30 days.
Physical Demands:
  • Effectively patrol property areas.
  • Physically capable of detaining individuals if necessary.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
