Tank Construction Site Supervisor

At Maguire Company Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tank Construction Site Supervisor to lead our field crew in the erection of elevated water towers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in steel structure fabrication and a proven track record of ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and organize the field crew to ensure efficient and safe completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and coordinate projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to ensure crew members are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with crew members, project managers, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in steel structure fabrication and erection.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a field environment, with frequent exposure to weather conditions, including heat and cold.
  • May require travel to project sites, which can be located in various regions.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 100 pounds, and work at heights.
