Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Forest Suites Resort. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable and enjoyable stay. Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Check guests in and out, handling room assignments, key cards, and other related tasks.
- Process payments, handle cash, and balance the front desk bank.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and communicate with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring that all necessary materials and supplies are available.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
- Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the front desk area.
