Job Summary

NW Monitoring is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IONM Fellow to join our team. As an IONM Fellow, you will be responsible for performing intraoperative neurophysiology procedures, including test setup, electrode application, and maintaining patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in and graduate from the NW Monitoring Education Program or a Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) program.
  • Participate in training and competencies to ensure proficiency in IONM procedures.
  • Perform IONM studies per National Standards and NW Monitoring protocols.
  • Take call as directed and respond to emergency calls.
  • Cross-train in other modalities and regions as needed.
  • Support other regions when necessary.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or requested for the timely operation of the region and organization.
Requirements
  • A credential in electroencephalography (R. EEG T) and/or a credential in evoked potentials (R. EP T) or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 6 months or more patient care experience preferred.
  • Currently enrolled in NW Monitoring Education Program or a CAAHEP accredited END program.
  • BLS certification required.
  • CNIM certification through ABRET is required within 12 months of becoming Technologist I.
