Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Participate in the growth and development of the Diagnostic Imaging department, contributing ideas and suggestions for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve desired outcomes and provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Two years of community college or vocational training in a certified radiological technologist training program or equivalent education/experience.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of previous experience in special procedures and/or cardiac catheterization, with responsibilities for assisting on Angiographic and other high-risk procedures.
  • Healthcare-related Bachelor's Degree.
  • ARRT Credentials in Vascular Interventional Radiography.
