Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively market and sell fabrication machinery (such as press brakes, cutting lasers, plate rolls, saws, waterjet systems, etc.) and manufacturing solutions by cultivating and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their operations, identify and anticipate their needs, and propose tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers and Applications Engineering teams for technical assistance and product demonstrations.
  • Design and present solutions that cater to specific client requirements and challenges.
  • Achieve sales targets and consistently meet or exceed performance goals.
  • Foster strong collaborative relationships with all team members and departments.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the metal fabrication sector and the product lines offered by the company, along with a thorough awareness of competitor offerings.
  • Keep accurate records of contacts, accounts, activities, forecasts, quotes, and other relevant data.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced expertise in metal fabrication equipment and technology, with prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to listen attentively and ask clarifying questions.
  • Capability to articulate and present complex technical concepts in a clear and comprehensible manner.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective time management to achieve daily, monthly, and annual objectives. Excellent follow-up and tracking abilities.
  • Creative problem-solver with the capacity to navigate unforeseen challenges.
  • Professional demeanor with a strong ethical foundation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record. Ability to obtain a passport.
  • The ideal candidate will reside in Iowa, Eastern Nebraska, or Western Illinois.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel within the territory, attend national trade shows, and occasionally travel internationally.
