Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of physician services in the hospice patient care program.
- Provide medical leadership and guidance to the hospice interdisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine or Osteopathy with at least two (2) years of experience beyond board certification.
- Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
- Knowledge of the psychosocial and medical aspects of hospice care.
- Current state medical license in good standing with the medical board.
