Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to lead our Finance and Insurance (F&I) operations at Route 1 Hyundai in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry, offering a competitive base draw plus commission.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all F&I operations, including customer financing, insurance, and aftermarket product sales.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive financing options for customers.
  • Work with sales team to maximize profits by structuring deals and offering appropriate financing and insurance options.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to F&I processes and documentation.
  • Train and develop sales and finance team members on F&I processes and selling techniques.
  • Manage all F&I paperwork and ensure accuracy and timeliness of deals.
  • Continuously monitor market and industry trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and revenue growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 year's experience as a Finance Manager in the auto industry.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and insurance processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and profit goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and finance-related software programs.
  • Must be able to sell products based on customer needs and wants.
  • CDK, Dealertrack, and eContracting is a must.
