Job Title: Roadway Engineer Project Manager

Halff is seeking a highly skilled Roadway Engineer Project Manager to join our Transportation team in Richardson, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing transportation projects and tasks, assisting in workload management, and collaborating with clients and consultants.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage transportation projects or tasks in support of business needs
  • Assist in managing the workload of design staff, including Engineers, EITs, and technical staff
  • Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules
  • Review transportation designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistency
  • Report on project progress and collaborate with clients and consultants
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-accredited equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in roadway/transportation project delivery
  • TxDOT experience (as a TxDOT employee or consultant) is a must
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License, preferably in Texas
  • Experience managing roadway/transportation TxDOT PS&E projects and plan production
  • ORD experience
  • Ability to manage a project and supervise technical staff
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
