About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective EHS management systems and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks and hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS training programs and materials.
  • Investigate and report on EHS incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective communication.
  • Provide EHS guidance and support to employees and management to ensure a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Develop and implement EHS metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing EHS regulations and industry best practices to ensure our organization remains compliant and competitive.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in EHS management, with a strong background in regulatory compliance and risk assessment.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and report on EHS incidents and near-misses.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a strong background in EHS management and regulatory compliance.
  • Certifications in EHS management, such as CIH or CSP.
  • Experience in developing and implementing EHS training programs and materials.
