EHS Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team as a Lead EHS Specialist. As a key member of our EHS department, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement EHS training programs.
• Investigate and report on EHS incidents and near-misses.
• Develop and maintain EHS metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide EHS guidance and support to employees and management.
• Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).

• Environmental compliance and reporting experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing/ general industry or related industry.
• Experience in leading, developing and conducting training.
• Forming, facilitating, and maintaining internal and cross functional teams and relationships.
• RCRA Large Quantity Generator Hazardous Waste Management experience.
• Wastewater permitting, sampling, treatment system knowledge.
• Generalist safety discipline experience.
• High-hazard process/ Process Safety Management (PSM) knowledge.
• Ergonomic risk assessment & controls experience.
