We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controls Automation Engineer to join our team at The Richmond Group USA. As a key member of our Corporate Engineering department, you will play a critical role in establishing a program to automate production equipment on the manufacturing floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems, including human-machine interface and interactive PLC, to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and training materials.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to production teams to ensure successful implementation of automation projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in control systems design and development.
  • Proficiency in design software, such as AUTOCAD or SOLIDWORKS.
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies, including PLCs, HMIs, and sensors.
