Job Summary
BioTechnique is a leading CDMO providing sterile injectable full service fill-finish services. We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Engineer to join our team in York, PA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the success of our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility and operations, responsible for implementing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated equipment, instruments, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions and control systems for required manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Support and execute the commissioning of new automated systems.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments and teams to coordinate tasks and objectives.
  • Conduct rigorous testing, simulation, and validation of automation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of automation systems, change controls, and maintenance activities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in automation engineering within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Must have experience with Siemens automation systems and software.
  • Proven experience configuring controller systems, PLC programming, HMI development, SCADA, etc.
