Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Technician Nursing Assistant to join our team at Saint Francis Hospital. As a member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and report patient information and data
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing, and dressing
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Collect specimens and distribute linens and supplies to patient rooms
  • Deliver ice and beverages to patients
  • Monitor patient safety and provide support as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Connecticut-approved Nurse Aide Training Program or significant previous healthcare-related experience
  • BLS certification
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting preferred
