Pharmacy Manager Role at CVS Health

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Develop and implement best practices in pharmacy operations, including medication management and patient education.
  • Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve pharmacy operations to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
  • Personnel Management: Lead and develop a high-performing pharmacy team.
  • Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  • Financial Profitability: Manage pharmacy finances to ensure profitability.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks to prevent losses.
  • Workflow Management: Optimize pharmacy workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Active Pharmacy License: Must have an active pharmacy license in the state where employed.
  • Immunization Certification: Must have immunization certification through an accredited organization.
  • Education: Must have a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
