    • Monitor adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen, taking corrective action as necessary.
    • Maintain records of health and safety practices, including training records and incident reports.
    • Ensure compliance with bar security procedures, including cash handling and inventory management.
  • Business Management:
    • Oversee planning and forecasting activities, including sales projections and inventory management.
    • Manage inventory and cost control, ensuring that we are operating within budget and minimizing waste.
    • Utilize relevant computer applications to manage administrative tasks, including payroll and scheduling.
    • Implement best practices for safety and sanitation, including regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced bar environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Indepth knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including mixology and wine service.
  • Proven experience in staff management and development, including training and coaching.
  • Competence in planning and forecasting, including sales projections and inventory management.
  • Track record in managing inventory and cost control, including budgeting and financial management.
  • Familiarity with administrative procedures, including payroll and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation, including health and safety protocols and food safety regulations.
  • Availability to work shifts during weekends and holidays, including evenings and weekends.
Skills:
  • Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including training and coaching.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making: Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions, including prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
  • Planning and Organising: Competence in planning and organizing, including scheduling and inventory management.
  • Written and Verbal Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends.
