- Operational Management:

- Coordinate bar operations during each shift, ensuring that all areas of the bar are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Maintain records of health and safety practices, including training records and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with bar security procedures, including cash handling and inventory management.
- Business Management:
- Oversee planning and forecasting activities, including sales projections and inventory management.
- Manage inventory and cost control, ensuring that we are operating within budget and minimizing waste.
- Utilize relevant computer applications to manage administrative tasks, including payroll and scheduling.
- Implement best practices for safety and sanitation, including regular cleaning and maintenance schedules.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced bar environment, with a proven track record of success.
- Indepth knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including mixology and wine service.
- Proven experience in staff management and development, including training and coaching.
- Competence in planning and forecasting, including sales projections and inventory management.
- Track record in managing inventory and cost control, including budgeting and financial management.
- Familiarity with administrative procedures, including payroll and scheduling.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation, including health and safety protocols and food safety regulations.
- Availability to work shifts during weekends and holidays, including evenings and weekends.
- Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including training and coaching.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making: Ability to analyze problems and make sound decisions, including prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
- Planning and Organising: Competence in planning and organizing, including scheduling and inventory management.
- Written and Verbal Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends.
- Team Player: Proven ability to work as part of a team, including collaboration and communication with colleagues.
