Job Overview:

General Information

This role involves minimal travel within Texas and requires commitment during weekends and evenings to facilitate course delivery and support.

Objective

The purpose of this position is to enhance the implementation of the OnRamps College Algebra curriculum and to provide extensive instructional and professional development support to OnRamps Instructors, Students, and University Faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer personalized instructional, professional development, and technical assistance to OnRamps Instructors to ensure effective course delivery and instructor satisfaction.
  • Design and execute annual professional development sessions during the summer, fall, and spring in collaboration with Course Leads and the Professional Learning team.
  • Foster a supportive network among OnRamps Instructors through ongoing professional development activities, including newsletters and virtual meetings.
  • Monitor curriculum implementation to maintain alignment with college standards and provide necessary feedback to students.
  • Ensure adherence to grading protocols established by the Instructor of Record, including oversight of college credit assignments.
  • Utilize data to inform decisions regarding student engagement and learning outcomes, guiding professional development and support initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align efforts and advance the OnRamps mission, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Participate in special projects that align with the strategic goals of OnRamps.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or strategic development.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and tools.
  • Proficient in social media and digital marketing.

Relevant education and experience may be considered as substitutes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Over 5 years of experience in marketing or strategy development.
  • Experience in K12 or higher education settings.
  • Proven ability in conducting market research and strategy formulation.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Compensation

Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

Working Environment
  • The role may require occasional travel and involves working during evenings and weekends.
  • Standard office conditions apply.
  • Repetitive use of a keyboard is expected.
  • A hybrid work environment is available.
