Job Summary

Benchmark Spruce Point Inn is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Restaurant Server to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring seamless service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the restaurant for service, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
  • Greet guests warmly and efficiently, making them feel valued and appreciated.
  • Present menus and take orders accurately, confirming special requests and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Assist guests with concerns or issues, providing solutions and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Present bills accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth and professional conclusion to the guest's experience.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in food service, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits, with the ability to make recommendations and describe menu items.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and creating a positive and memorable atmosphere.
