Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician II will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Nutramax Laboratories' manufacturing and packaging operations. This position requires a high level of mechanical expertise and attention to detail to maintain and repair equipment, as well as provide support for production operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Production Support: Provide technical support for production operations, including setup and adjustments to equipment, to ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines and SOPs.
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues using root cause analysis to determine corrective actions and prevent reoccurring failures.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain spare parts inventory to ensure timely replacement of equipment components.
  • Training and Development: Train new employees on equipment maintenance, safety procedures, and SOPs as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor other members of the maintenance department to develop a team-work environment and promote a culture of excellence.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Possess strong attention to detail and process analytical skills to ensure accurate and efficient equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all staff levels, including production personnel and management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move packages and material weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
