Direct Support Professional

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a vital member of our team at Skill Creations, Inc. As a DSP, you will provide support and care to individuals living in our residential facilities, who require assistance with physical, medical, behavioral, cognitive, and independent living needs. Your role will involve providing assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, medication administration, and independent living skills. You will also transport and accompany individuals to community activities and appointments.
Responsibilities:
Provide support and care to individuals with physical, medical, behavioral, cognitive, and independent living needs
Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, medication administration, and independent living skills
Transport and accompany individuals to community activities and appointments
Maintain a safe and healthy environment for individuals in our care
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED from an accredited school
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic training modules
