Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit at Vidant Health Duplin Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Document patient information and progress in the medical record

Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing, Associate's in Nursing, or higher
  • Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

Working Conditions

This position is full-time (36 hours/week) and nights. Relocation and tuition assistance are available.
