Job Description:

Dewberry is seeking a highly-qualified Construction Project Manager/Scheduler to join our team in a dynamic role that involves managing and scheduling for re-build efforts at Tyndall Air Force Base and other construction projects for federal agencies, state governments, local governments, and private clients.

We are looking for individuals with experience in the following areas:

  • Knowledge and experience in major utility work and coordination with multiple contractors.

As a Construction Project Manager/Scheduler, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the best and brightest professionals and work on innovative and complex projects at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise the performance of services under the contract, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients to direct construction-related projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Review and ensure that assigned inspectors submit regular status reports to update the status of services provided.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Construction Manager, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or Quality Control Manager on commercial/industrial type facilities, utility, or waterfront-related contracts valued over $5 million.
  • Construction technical competencies and qualifications to verify workmanship.
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling methods and familiarity with scheduling software.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, concisely, and authoritatively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining complex, long-term, multi-year program construction management activities.
  • Knowledge of construction practices and techniques, including proper applications of construction materials and methods of installation.
  • Ability to accurately calculate construction costs and provide recommendations for equitable adjustments.
  • Ability to monitor the preparation of as-built activities of contractors and review contractor submissions for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ability to identify critical and long-lead-time materials and recommend procurement strategies.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
