Our 33-bed unit at Butterworth Hospital specializes in providing high-quality care to patients with orthopedic, trauma, and burn injuries. Our team of professionals works collaboratively to deliver comprehensive care, including nursing, physician, and rehabilitation services. We cater to patients with a range of diagnoses, including polytrauma, gunshot wounds, falls, motor vehicle accidents, burns, and orthopedic complications.

Scope of WorkAs a Registered Nurse in our Orthopedic and Trauma Unit, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care that meets the highest standards of professional practice. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Your expertise will be essential in upholding the standards of professional performance, including ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, and quality of practice.

- Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required within 5 years.
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.
