Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center. This is a PRN (per diem) position, allowing for a flexible schedule that suits your needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' needs and determine the frequency and duration of treatment regimes ordered by physicians.
  • Initiate and follow through with protocols in our policy and procedure manual, as approved by the department and medical staff.
  • Evaluate patients' responses to therapy and record information accurately.
  • Maintain critical care records, including flow sheets, charts, and record cards.
Requirements
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist licensure in Tennessee
  • BLS certification (obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • PALS/NRP/ACLS certifications (obtained within 90 days of hire)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in respiratory care procedures and techniques
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
