We are currently seeking a full-time Client Relationship Specialist at our Ft. Thomas branch. In this role, you will provide both current and prospective clients with prompt and precise service while building strong professional relationships to understand their unique needs and promote the bank's offerings through cross-selling and referrals. A comprehensive understanding of all customer service representative duties, new account setup, and consumer lending is essential. A typical day may include the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture customer relationships through sales initiatives, utilizing both industry knowledge and Heartland Bank's specific products.
  • Process transactions involving a variety of tasks, including handling customer transactions, initiating and completing account operations, managing consumer product maintenance, addressing lending inquiries, and utilizing cash recycler technology in compliance with established policies.
  • Monitor and balance the cash supply throughout the workday.
  • Manage and balance the vault cash supply while coordinating cash shipments and deliveries.
  • Meet the sales performance and distinction standards set for Client Relationship Specialists.
  • Greet customers promptly in both face-to-face and telephone interactions, assess their immediate needs, and navigate branch procedures to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct routine onboarding tasks for newly established accounts with great attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve set goals in production, sales, cross-selling, and operational success.
  • Complete necessary daily, weekly, and monthly reporting tasks diligently.
  • Refer potential business opportunities to various stakeholders within the institution for specialized services such as investments, mortgage lending, commercial lending, and cash management.
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and effectively share relevant information with branch staff.
  • Follow established security protocols to ensure the protection of customer information.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least one year of experience in customer service, retail, and/or cash handling preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Internet Explorer, Chexsystems, ARTA, Encompass, Innovistar, ResourceOne, Premier Integrated Teller, and Business Process Manager.
