Role Summary

The IIS Systems Support Specialist is responsible for the management and administration of IIS servers and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support IIS servers and systems.
  • Monitor the performance of IIS servers.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify issues with IIS servers.
  • Conduct backup operations for IIS server sites and configurations.
  • Document relevant DISA STIG settings.

Equipment Utilized:

Standard office equipment and materials.

Work Environment:

Typical office setting, with potential support required during non-standard hours, including evenings or weekends.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs. without assistance.

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level Security Clearance.

Education / Certifications:
High School Diploma / GED
CompTIA Security+ CE Certification
Microsoft Certification:
Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

Experience / Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems administration within a large, complex computing environment, including:

  • Experience with SCCM
  • Proficiency in PowerShell
  • Familiarity with VMware
  • 3 years of experience implementing RMF
