Job Summary
The Senior Administrative Clerk will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Dean’s Office, including managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing complex materials. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Dean’s Office, including calendar management, travel coordination, and document preparation
- Oversee record-keeping and accounting principles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with university policies
- Assist in research and problem-solving, providing data and reports as needed
- Coordinate building personnel activities, scheduling, and operations
- Perform other duties as required, including reconciling accounts and submitting university reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Minimum two years of experience in administrative support, preferably in an academic setting
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other office software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in an accounting or finance department
- Knowledge of specific software applications used in the area of assignment
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
