MKS Instruments is seeking a skilled Test Engineering Co-op to support the development and implementation of test processes for electro-mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional groups to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase reliability of new products.
This role involves creating efficient and consistent processes for transitioning new products from development to ongoing production.
As a Test Engineering Co-op, you will provide support for optimizing designs for testability of RF components, PCBA's, Sub-Assemblies, and Final Assemblies.
You will represent the Technical Operations team in product development projects, communicating requirements and proposing solutions.
Partner with design engineering and facilitate supplier value engineering in product development with strong influence in DFX (Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, and Service).
Knowledge of RF and DC circuitry testing techniques is required.
Assists in transferring products and training of new sites.
Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in (IE/ME/EE) or relevant majors.
Statistical analysis, Gauge R & R, and Correlation analysis experience is a plus.
Knowledge of MATLAB, LTspice, QSpice, and Python is a plus.
Collaboration skills with a passion for manufacturing and operations.
Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits.
Hourly Pay Range:
$25.00 per hour.
