Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Asset Management Lead to join our team at Saxon Global. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for eliminating waste and increasing efficiency by making the best use of existing IT asset resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily and long-term operational and strategic management of hardware assets.
  • Plan, monitor, and record hardware assets to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Apply a continuous improvement approach to enhance departmental strategies and track company assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Ensure effective management of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and its content.
  • Provide supervision to staff and ensure accurate reporting on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Take part in various projects, providing support to the enhancement of CMDB and Help Site for customer support.
  • Manage inventory of assets, ensuring timely ownership transfers, retirements, and additions.
  • Responsible for managing the lifecycle of hardware from introduction to retirement.
  • Generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets and their status.
  • Perform verification and audit of CMDB content, confirming hardware assets with actual inventory.
  • Ensure process efficiency by implementing key performance indicators and suggesting improvements.
  • Design processes relating to hardware asset management, execute, and enhance them.
  • Maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware and at least five years' experience working as an IT asset analyst.
  • Five years or more experience managing staff.
  • Strong knowledge and experience working with a CMDB.
  • Five years or more ITSM tool experience, including ServiceNow.
  • Proven ability and experience in executing strategic asset management processes successfully.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
