LPN Respiratory Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled LPN Respiratory Care Specialist to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and support to physicians in an inpatient setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, as outlined in the patient's plan of care and/or as directed by the overseeing role, to promote comfort and/or return to functional health for the patient.
  • Consult with the Registered Nurse or Respiratory Therapist to seek guidance in delivery of nursing care, as necessary.
  • Accurately observe, record and report to the overseeing role, all patient concerns, symptoms, reactions and progress in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Practical Nursing, or appropriate state board where services will be provided, as a practical nurse.
  • Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) year clinical experience.
