Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Clarios. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily analysis and testing of quality control programs, including data analysis, systems evaluation, and product assessment.
  • Ensure day-to-day operations are carried out efficiently and effectively, correcting any irregularities.
  • Control and review current processes to ensure short-term and long-term quality standards business objectives are met.
  • Approve finished products, in-process production, and incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming requirements.
  • Assist with QA audits, lead investigations on basic production issues, and execute inspection requirements.
  • Document data and information as required, maintain documentation and records, and cooperate with other internal groups in maintaining and improving the inspection system.
  • Support additional QA technician duties as required and comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety duties as a condition of employment.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in working in a quality position within a manufacturing environment in mechanical or automotive field.
  • Strong analytical ability to solve problems and ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to generate process instructions and reports.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions specified.
  • Ability to use measurement equipment as required.
  • Ability to follow a structured project management process including document meeting minutes, action items, and monitor progress.
  • Documentation of inspection results.
  • SAP or other MRP-based system.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in technical field.
