Job Summary:
The Radiology Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. This role requires skills in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures. The position includes a callback rotation at multiple sites and reports to the Supervising Radiology.
Requirements:
No prior experience is required, but one year of clinical experience in radiology is preferred. A graduate degree in Radiologic Technology is mandatory. Additionally, a Registered Technologist for Radiography and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification are required.
Work Schedule:
This position works Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm in the OR. Weekend requirements are as needed, and the position involves call duties.
