Position Overview:
The Radiology Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. This role requires skills in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures. The position includes a call-back rotation at multiple sites and reports to the Supervising Radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images
- Work in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures
- Participate in call-back rotation at multiple sites
- Report to the Supervising Radiology
Requirements:
- 1 year of clinical experience in radiology (preferred)
- Graduate of a radiologic technology program
- Registered Technologist for Radiography certification
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
Work Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:30pm - 7:00am
Weekend and Call Requirements:
Every weekend, with call-back rotation at multiple sites
