Job SummaryThe Radiology Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. This role requires skills in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures.
Responsibilities- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images
- Work in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiation safety procedures and protocols
- Participate in call back rotation at multiple sites
- Graduate Radiologic Technology degree
- Registered Technologist for Radiography certification
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
- No experience required, but 1 year of clinical experience in radiology is preferred
This role requires working Saturday and Sunday from 6:30am to 7:00pm, and Thursday from 7:30am to 8:00pm. Weekend and call requirements are also part of this position.
