Job Summary

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and operating radiological equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiological equipment, including fluoroscopy, trauma, and Emergency department equipment, to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Administer radiation protection procedures to ensure patient safety and comply with department protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
  • Assist physicians in performing examinations and provide sound patient care practice according to hospital and department policies.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology school or program.
  • American Registered Radiologic Technologists within 12 months of hire.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist upon start.
  • One year of combined classroom and clinical training in radiology.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
