Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to provide clinical services in our radiology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiologic principles, anatomy, and pathology processes, and be able to operate radiological equipment in various care settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiation protection and safety procedures to patients, staff, and self.
  • Operate radiological equipment, including fluoroscopy, trauma, Emergency department, and Operating Room equipment.
  • Assist in teaching radiography students sound radiography principles.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent.
  • Assist physicians in performing examinations using standard department protocols, isolation precautions, and/or sterile techniques.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology school or program.
  • American Registered Radiologic Technologists within 12 months of hire.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist upon start.
  • One year of combined classroom and clinical training in radiology.
  • Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Radiologic Technologist or student.
