Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join our team at the Polytrauma/TBI Clinic Program. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive social work services to Veterans with conditions related to Polytrauma and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
Responsibilities- Provide social work services to Veterans with TBI, including assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of care.
- Develop and implement methods for measuring the effectiveness of social work practice and services in the specialty area.
- Provide specialized consultation to colleagues and students on the psychosocial treatment of patients with TBI.
- Collaborate with other disciplines, such as nursing and medicine, to facilitate treatment planning and implementation.
- Develop and provide educational information to Veterans and their families regarding TBI and PTSD.
- Master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
- Licensed or certified by a state to independently practice social work at the master's degree level.
- At least two years of experience post-advanced practice clinical licensure, with one year equivalent to the GS-11 grade level.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The selected candidate will be required to serve a probationary period and participate in the seasonal influenza vaccination program.
