About the Role

AdeIphi Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team in a correctional facility setting. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing mental health services to inmates, including assessments, therapy sessions, and crisis intervention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mental Health Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of inmates to identify mental health needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to inmates, focusing on issues such as substance abuse, trauma, and relationship problems.
  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to crisis situations, including suicidal ideation and violent behavior, and develop strategies to prevent future incidents.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of inmate interactions, including therapy sessions, assessments, and crisis interventions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care for inmates.
  • Program Development: Assist in the development and implementation of mental health programs and services within the correctional facility.
Requirements
  • License: Must be a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
  • Experience: At least 12 consecutive months of experience providing mental health services in a correctional facility or similar setting.
  • Certifications: Must hold a valid BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (with AED).
  • Language: Must be proficient in the English language, both spoken and written.
