  • Carrier Coordination: Dispatch carriers for pickups at designated locations.
  • Tracking and Tracing: Monitor shipment milestones and exceptions.
  • Case Management: Address all relevant cases efficiently.
  • Special Shipment Handling: Coordinate oversized and hazardous material shipments.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding or logistics is essential.
  • Familiarity with air export regulations and Schedule B tariff classification.
  • Understanding of banking requirements for international trade.
  • Knowledge of regulations concerning dangerous goods shipping.
  • Experience with hazardous materials handling.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations for import/export.
  • Basic math skills for metric conversions and currency evaluations.
  • At least one year of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.

Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of one year of experience in freight forwarding, with knowledge of DOT regulations and air import processes.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $16.79 and $31.86, based on experience and qualifications.
