Role Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of internal controls, financial reporting, operational efficiency, and business systems primarily within U.S. locations.
  • Presenting findings to various levels of management, both in written and verbal formats.
  • Engaging in special operational projects and administrative responsibilities as needed.
  • Executing audits, tests, and special projects across the U.S.
  • Defining objectives, theories, and scopes for controls testing, including risk assessments and testing plans.
  • Managing the planning and execution of internal audit activities, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
  • Coordinating efforts with independent public accountants and conducting interviews in assigned audit areas.
  • Analyzing processes and data to evaluate compliance with procedures, control adequacy, operational efficiency, and information accuracy.
  • Drafting and discussing audit findings with Internal Audit management and relevant stakeholders promptly.
  • Assisting in reviews of hardware, software, and data security as necessary.
  • Supporting management in departmental planning and scheduling.
  • Participating in special projects, including investigations and collaborations with engineering and IT teams.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, tax, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in business or operational auditing, preferably with experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CPA are preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Proven time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience with data analytics is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a focus on presenting findings to senior management.
  • A commitment to ethical practices and the principles of Internal Auditing.
