Compensation Details:

Job Description:

As a Fire Alarm & Special Hazards Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing critical fire alarm and special hazard systems. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform installations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs of fire alarm and special hazard systems
  • Ensure all work adheres to industry standards and regulations
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately install systems
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Conduct inspections and maintain fire extinguishers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in fire alarm, security, low voltage, and/or systems maintenance (we can train the right candidate)
  • NICET I Certification in Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Alarm Test & Inspect, or Special Hazards (or equivalent certification like ESA CAT L1) preferred (we can train the right candidate)
  • Strong reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively
  • Ability to work safely in various environments, including construction sites
